    Lost yardage

I have recently lost about 15 yds on my PW-3iron and have no idea why.  I changed my grip from baseball to overlapping but that is about the only change and if I go back to baseball I don't regain any length.  I used to hit a 7 iron 155 and now it is 140.  PW went from 105 to 90 yards.  The ball may have a higher trajectory and have less spin but that is about all I notice with the exception of the lost distance.  Any suggestions?

That is odd. It may be that the ball is too far in your stance. If only your grip has changed then you may be using too weak or strong of a grip. Either extreme will cause a loss of yardage.

Up here in the Northeast, we've all been losing yardage this summer due to really wet conditions. How's your weather been?

I have lost alot of yardage this year but it is from a medical condition.  I have had a reaction to statin drugs and have muscle fatigue in my legs, arms and abdomen.  I just can't get the clubhead speed so the ball doesn't go as far.  It has been a difficult summer but I I am hoping for some improvement so my wife doesn't have to do all the heavy hitting in our couples league and I don't contribute until we get near the green.

I just had this question posed to me by  my friend .In order to answer that i would have to watch you .If every thing  has remain the same such as ball position,. face angle of  club upon impact maybe is its  your follow though  . try hitting your back  with the club in the completion of your swing  sometimes we hold back  and we are not aware. One other suggestion would be , you are  could possibly  be hitting up on the ball . has your ball height  changed
